And yet, whenever the topic of renewables comes up, you claim that it'll never be feasible - even while these technologies are feasibly working in many countries. Clearly, you're lying in at least one instance.

Energy density and energy distribution/stability problems are real.  It isn't a one for one replacement, anymore than coal replacing sailing ships was.  So it is always is feasible, the problem is, will you accept the brownouts, a less energy consuming house?  You can go commune right now by using a bicycle instead of your car.  But are you willing to do that?  Technology/science isn't magic, it involves tradeoffs, and is never ever free, no matter how much Bernie may promise that.

I wanted a fully renewable energy economy circa 1980.  President Reagan stopped that.  And American middle class head up ass values.  I knew a house, in snowy Colorado, which could be heated for an entire winter, with $15 worth of kerosene.  But the house is post-modern adobe, and has no vaulted ceilings.
