I have The Living Bible set in my bookcase out of curiosity and reference too. So? The Founding Fathers were deist no matter how many times Christians try change history and make them out to be Christians.    Solitary

The frieze doesn't "pay homage to the ideas and principles that inspired the American legal system", it's merely a picture of various lawgivers through history.  So his basic premise is completely wrong.

Quote from: "jansnyder"Short video trying to make something of Islamic interest by the founding fathers of the USA:

They try to make a big deal of it, but they are misinterpreting the history. The founding fathers were secular diests who mostly didn't believe in Hell or really God, but more Masonism.

Also, it is little known, that they felt no antagonism to Islam.

Typical dawaganda from a muslim peddling their crappy belief, no need for truth when you have Islam.

Muslims are allowed to lie-
QuoteThe messenger of allah said-
He who makes peace between the people by inventing good information or saying good things is not a liar

As for these Presidents they are famous Islamophobes, compare what they said about Islam to what Obumma said.
Roosevelt
Jefferson
Franklin

Quote from: "jansnyder"I disagree with a lot of the quotes on that link.
They look like they have a very Christian slant to them, which should set off alarm bells right away.

Quote from: "jansnyder"I disagree with a lot of the quotes on that link. Islamic culture is not devoid of social values as Theodore "Teddy" Roosevelt said, nor can I stomach Sir Winston Churchill's comment against Islamic fanaticism and backwardness.

Jan, are you familiar with what Ambassador Sidi Haji Abdul Rahman Adja told members of American Congress including Jefferson about Islam, or Jefferson's actions shortly after he became president as a result of the ambassador's word's?

Islamic culture is not devoid of social values as Theodore "Teddy" Roosevelt said, nor can I stomach Sir Winston Churchill's comment against Islamic fanaticism and backwardness. After all, Churchill helped depose Mossedegh from Iran with Eisenhower to put in a tyrannical Shah, so that he could maintain control over Iran oil.

Mossadegh still had to deal with the bearded nutjobs called ayatollah's, he said he was a muslim yet Khomeni said he was not.

This is worth reading-
