Yes, I run into that problem fairly often. I'm especially wary when there is a job posting that never list the company name. Even one with a name but no address is questionable. And all those "work form home" scams

I didn't like how that article ended; that it's supposedly gonna get a lot worse before it gets better, but we'll see, now won't we?

I'm a Frenchman and I know how to avoid scams.
I'm looking for a job since five month (first job).

1.I answer to job postings of "pôle emploi" (the French equivalent of "DEEWR" in Australia , "EQ" and "HRSDC" in Canada , "FÁS" in Ireland , "MSD" in New-Zealand , "JCP" in UK and "NASWA" in USA).

2.If I would like answer to a job posting in a website like //http://www.monster.fr (French version of //http://www.monster.com).
I follow what "Poison Tree" did wrote above.

3.If I would like answer to a job proposition in a website like //http://www.craiglist.com I send only my first name and last name , age and I explain why I interest by this work.
