If we were living in a simulation. Are we in a full or partial reproduction of a world that already existed or a fiction ?

The meaning of the world is a collective experience in people's heads.  Our collective perception is a partial reproduction of our own past, and is always a kind of fiction, so yes to both.  Qualia may or may not be involved in our individual/social delusions.
