I didn't like it.

This is strange to me as I really liked the State on Mtv and this movie was made by and full of people from the State. But it was just nonsense that went all over the place and then it ended. Maybe it was trying to subvert traditional narratives but if so, it discovered why we have traditional narratives: because it's boring otherwise. Would have worked better if some of the jokes landed, but they just didn't. As such it turned out to be more funny weird than actually funny.

I guess this is what happens when guys who normally write 5-15 min sketches try to write a feature-length film. Those you can load the weird into them until it becomes funny. This had too much room for the weird to breathe, which you should never ever do with weird. Air is poisonous..

So I didn't like it so I doubt if I'll watch any of the later day follow ups because who honestly fucking cares to see any of these characters ever again for as long as you live, for as long as one stone rests on top of another.

Fuck this movie.
