Okay...admit it. You've thought about it. You've considered it. Hell, you may have already started accumulating firearms, stocking away provisions and making dry runs of your plan. Deny it if you must, but you know it weighs heavily on your mind.
I'm talking about Zombies, Walking Corpses..........The Living Dead.
You know they're coming someday. There are dozens of zombie movies, and Hollywood never, ever lies or distorts the truth - we know this. So why would Hollywood make movies about zombies if their arrival was not imminent? Millions will be caught unawares and unprepared. But not you. You've seen this day coming ever since George Romero spent his 115,000 hard earned dollars making the world aware of the coming menace. You've watched all the films and taken careful notes. You know their strengths and learned their weaknesses. You know how to run, where to hide, and how to lay those mothers down when the shit gets thick.
So let's hear it, your Zombie Survival Plan. Where would you hole up, and why? What kind of arsenal will you be packing? How will you get food? What about wheels and communication? Don't forget amore! The survivors will have to start over.
I want to get the Zombie Survival guide so bad, but I'm still prepared. We do have a couple guns in a gun case in our den, but we had a lot of food in my house. While my friend and his dad have a lot of guns. So when shit hits the fan they and the rest of my friends are going to grab all the ammo and head over to my house. There we will stay until supplies are out, following the Night of the Living Dead we will head to a house in the middle of nowhere. Sure there won't be a lot of help nearby but there won't be a lot zombies in the area in the first place. _________________ Proud Atheist and believer of evolution

In the movies, they're always in a shopping mall. That's ridiculous because you've got 100 stores and 45 entrances to fortify. But if you could get to Walmart or Super Target early, before the place was teeming with undead, you've only got a couple of entrances to worry about. The fire doors are already secure.
Super Walmart is ideal because you've got plenty of food, clothing, tools, hygeine items, sporting goods, electronics, even a garage area to anti-zombify your wheels . Even if there were 100 of you holed up, you would be set for months, and even if the power failed you could survive on all the canned and boxed food. I can't see a lot of downside to Walmart as long as the refugees don't start getting too numerous. _________________

Wal-Mart would be a good idea, but there is a K-Mart close to where I live. Its exactly like Wal-Mart except a bit smaller. Since you brought that up I'm going to head to there instead. There's food, clothes, guns, and anything else you really need at that store. _________________ Proud Atheist and believer of evolution

Camping gear, food, weapons, building materials, agriculture materials... good stuff.
Of course, the biggest threat to your safety isn;t the zombies or even the elements.. its your fellow humans.. treacherous, greedy, panicky, short-sighted, flawed humans. _________________ -=The Believer is Happy; the Skeptic is Wise=-
