I'm compiling a list of Christian talking points that atheists and agnostics find particularly annoying, so that I can create a compilation of responses to them. Please list as many as you can think of. I'm focusing primarily on evangelical and fundamentalist Christianity here, but talking points from Christians of all stripes are welcome.

Thanks!

Pascal's Wager is at the top of the list for me.

I'm reading Dawkins "God delusion" at the moment and Dawkins says he thinks Pascal was probably joking when he made his wager!

Any time you take out the Bible. You have to keep in mind that most Agnostics and Atheist give little weight to scripture. Pulling it out and saying "well God says here that....". You might was well be pulling "Gone With the Wind" out and saying "well Ashley Wilkes says there that....".

Jesus teachings are so perfect that they must have come from a perfect being.

Only the Christian worldview accounts for reality.

"Love the sinner, hate the sin"

As Father Matt said, that is just a nice way of saying "I hate you".

Oh, and "I'll pray for you". That is just another way of saying "I can't convince you because you are right and at the same time I cannot possibly start thinking like you."
It condescending and retarded.

Yes, but you forget one thing: God didn't write "Gone With the Wind". He wrote The Bible...
Bo-fuckin'-yah!

Or did you mean to say that Ahley Wilkes is God... Or that God is Ahsley Wilkes... Now I'm all sorts of confused... If that's true, then maybe the exodus was the Union army's fleeing from the north to the promised lands of Tara.... Ok, now I get it...

That's actually mine as well. It's just a cop-out so Jesus freaks can hate people without admitting it to themselves....

Yeah, that one's a winner as well. But it never made much sence to me. "so perfect"? Really something either is or is not perfect. And his anti-teabagging policy always seemed to detract from its alleged "perfection"-- this despite the clear scriptural evidence that the Son of Man himself enjoyed duct taping the apostles to their donkeys and "anointing" them...

"Lord, liar, or lunatic?"

This one always gets me going!

Then, of course, there's this list of Christian cliches that that they use incessantly.
