Nope, all that means is you like a lot of shitty music, as opposed to a select genre of shitty music.

The only music styles I dislike are basically metal, heavier punk music, anything labeled "emo" or "scene", almost all techno, and a big portion of country.
Not liking some shitty music, doesn't mean the music you do like isn't shitty.

So that leaves every other style of music (most of it) that I like....so I don't have a "shitty taste in music", you just disagree with one (or more) part(s) of it.
I do not "disagree" with parts of the music you listen to, that doesn't make any sense. I don't like the music you listen to. But that's neither here nor there, because it just so happens that I only like objectively good music; and if music is objectively good, then I like it. All the music you have posted I do not like, and by my previous statement, is shitty. And thusly, by induction, all the music you like is shitty.

I mean I'm random with what I'll listen to....I'll be listening to Ke$ha one day, Beethoven the next, then Steve Vai, then 40s music.....I like most music...just not the heavier stuff, which obviously like 99% of everyone here does, as displayed with their music postings.
Liking most music means the majority of the music you like is shitty.

Wrongo.
That's what people with a shitty taste in music say to justify having a shitty taste in music.

Then someone could ask for examples, and then what if someone doesn't like your examples? Would this be purely due to bad taste, and by no means evidence against the 'objectivelyt good music' hypothesis?
I like to believe that tastes differ, and that music has done nothing to deserve getting assraped by a "True Scottsman".
I also like to believe that this thread should be about the enjoyment of music, and not about condemning other people's enjoyment of music. _________________ ~Simus rationales~

As it turns out, yes, it's purely due to bad taste.

No Scotsman has every said anything remotely true... or for that matter, coherent.

I propose a compromise, this thread should be about the enjoyment of condemning other people's music.
Keep it coming people, and keep plenty of it coming. _________________ ~Simus rationales~

Your taste in music is astoundingly shitty. I mean, Taylor Swift? The Fray? Owl City? That says it all right there. I bet you've never listened to anything that isn't on the "Top 100 hits" stations.
Sorry but after reading this discussion and taking a look at the vids you posted, I have to agree (objectively) with everyone above.
EDIT: Okay now I just saw that you posted the Jonas Brothers. Meaning that I'm too sickened to comment further on just how shitty your musical taste is. (*BARF*) You should post Miley Cyrus and Paris Hilton next just to complete your repertoire.

There is noting wrong with Taylor Swift nor The Fray. Okay, Owl City has some pretty gay songs but they aren't too bad. Miley Cyrus and the Jonas Brothers each have at least 1 song that is listenable.
I don't exclusively like pop music though, and it isn't till more recently that I've even started listening to it.
Music I like the best is basically euro-rock I guess you could call it like Coldplay, Keane, Jet, Muse, and stuff like that.
And if you think Coldplay is "shitty" music, then please go kindly fuck yourself. _________________
