Metallica-Cyanide (off the new album, which happens to kick total ass and is full of win)
SURELY you jest.
There's a good release on it? No, SRSLY.....I want to know your opinion. I haven't been this disappointed in music since.....um.....er......well their first release of the new album made me weep a little.
Here, I still love this no matter what anybody says about Metallica. They outdid Thin Lizzy. THIN LIZZY!!

Yes I think the new album is great. If this album makes you weep than I have to question your standards. Its kick ass rock through and through, with plenty of awesome guitar riffs and solos in nearly every song. Whats so wrong with it in your opinion? _________________ A liberal is a conservative who has been arrested. A conservative is a liberal who has been mugged.

I've only heard one or two songs from the new album, so I need to hear some more of it to make a real opinion, but I thought it was ok at best. I certainly hope the first singles released aren't the best songs on the album. Definitely better guitar work compared to St. Anger. The lyrics were just kind of bleh, nothing overly interesting or meaningful, and Hetfield's voice just sounds off anymore, at least in the studio albums.

Metallica's best song (imo), Battery
Really? I'd maybe put it 3rd or 4th of that album. Guess I've just always liked their epic songs more than the straight, hard speed metal (not that I dislike Battery and similar songs or anything). Fade to Black, Master of Puppets, Disposable Heroes, One, Sanitarium... _________________ "The very existence of flame throwers proves that some time, somewhere, someone said to themselves, 'You know, I want to set those people over there on fire, but I'm just not close enough to get the job done.' - George Carlin

Sorry, forgot Fade to black.
Make Battery second, F2B first :p. _________________ Cheap, Sweat Shop-Free T-Shirts, ranging from Political to Ecological topics.

Fade's probably my first, too. Amazing song. _________________ "The very existence of flame throwers proves that some time, somewhere, someone said to themselves, 'You know, I want to set those people over there on fire, but I'm just not close enough to get the job done.' - George Carlin
