I just noticed a really minor, and kinda funny bug. Under our profiles, we have a "percent of total posts" statistic. It seems as if it's currently calculated, however, using our total post count (which includes our old forum posts) divided by our total posts here. This gives outrageously high numbers.
I noticed something was wrong when I saw that todangst posted 100% of the forum messages here, whereas I posted close to 50% of them... _________________ The whores and politicians will shout 'save us'...

I don't think so. I can see it even while logged out. It's under "total posts" in the profile. You have 39.39% of the total.... _________________ The whores and politicians will shout 'save us'...

Total posts: 3393
[39.38% of total / 2.85 posts per day]

Yeah, I saw that yesterday. I had 58%, and I said, "Oh cool!" Then: "Wait a minute..."

i have a habit of dating bi-sexual girls... it simply gives us another thing in common: appreciation of the female form.
*thinks back* huh... yeah, the vast majority of women i've dated have been bi. probably why i'm still single. _________________ -=The Believer is Happy; the Skeptic is Wise=-

This may be more work then it's worth but what would be kind of cool:
Merging private messages from all the boards, that is if someone sends me a PM from DH I'll see it over here and vice versa. _________________

| At the top of the front page there is a list of the 10 most "Recent Posts" - is it possible to extend that list to 30 along with the author? |

Another thing to consider could be adding a 'spammer ban' option, which wouldn't be so much a ban as an automatic redirection of the person to some evil spammy site with nasty popups, that installs it's own spammy apllication on te fucker's computer _________________

Suggestions for the lists of Recent Posts/Popular Topics:
- Enlarge the font for the links.
The combination of a tiny font and underlines is very unfriendly to tired eyes.
- Remove the underlines (except when a link is pointed at) and make the font bold for non-visited links.
This will make the text easier to read and make new posts and unvisited topics stand out.
I'm currently using the below css in a Stylish style to make the changes according to above in my own browser. This also removes the underlines of links to visited topic pages, so you can see which pages you have visited. | Code: | /* Description: AtheistForums.com link decorations and fonts */
@namespace url(http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml);
@-moz-document domain("atheistforums.com") {
/* Most links, remove underlines of visited links */
:visited { text-decoration: none !important; }
[href]:hover { text-decoration: underline !important; }
/* Recent Posts / Popular topics */
td[align="left"].row2 > span.gensmall * {
font-size: 11px !important; /* original: 10px for .gensmall */
text-decoration: none !important;
}
td[align="left"].row2 > span.gensmall :link {
font-weight: bold !important;
}
td[align="left"].row2 > span.gensmall [href]:hover {
text-decoration: underline !important;
}
}

I've already posted this twice, but putting the topic first in the page title would be great for those of us who use tabbed browsers. Right now, every single tab says something along the lines of "Atheist Forums.c..."
Something along the lines of (for example) "THE SUGGESTION BOX - AtheistForums.com: Think Freely, But Act Responsibly" would make it easy to distinguish tabs. _________________
