You've already addressed yourself in the other thread. You're quite strange that way. _________________ The whores and politicians will shout 'save us'...

Okay. I'll do both.
My complaint about you is that you suck.
I'm sorry that you suck. _________________ The whores and politicians will shout 'save us'...

Not valid, be an adult. You started a thread about me, and NOONE can manifest their issues about me on paper. All 12 people are sissy fucktards since they cannot address in person about their issues with me.
Why do you have an issue with me? It is a logical question for someone who started a thread about me.
Answer the question. What is your issue with me. |

And you asked for a thread to be started about you. _________________ The whores and politicians will shout 'save us'...

We're an empire. We need a strong executive, independent of the legislative bodies, to preside over the empire.
Prior to the Civil War, you are correct, we did not need a President, and in fact, the Speaker of the House was a more powerful position than the President back then. But we are now an empire with global reach, and an empire needs an emperor. |

Ok? Define an empire.

Really? Just define an empire; majority or divine rule. |

For a working definition, I'd say an empire is a state which exercises control over other national groups or states through economic and cultural power or military force, and often all three. Modern political scientists often prefer to use the terms superpower, hyperpower or hegemon, but empire works fine for me.
I say an empire needs an emperor because, theoretically at least, within a nation with a more-or-less democratic system of government, people can manage their own affairs without a strong executive, but I don't see how you could effectively manage the affairs of other states/national groups without a strong executive. |

IOW, it is a collection of individuals who express monopolistic control over other individuals.

IOW, we need empires to protect ourselves from other empires. |

Why is it so hard to comprehend that you OWN yourself? Am I really teetering on the brink of absurdity? If you don't own yourself, then someone else does, unless you consider "non-ownership"/nihilism into the set of possibilities.
Yeah, self ownership is a natural right, regardless of a divine monarch or a representative president. |
Your avoidance of the question's revealing. You can't get around the Gettier problem with your natural rights!
Answer the question or your precious little theory goes down in flames, in addition to revealing your ignorance! |
Why is it necessary to "know" something in order for it to be true?
...this is all beside the point. Knowing it, and whether or not it is true, are two seperate questions. Self-ownership has nothing to do with Gettier.
This is no better than a creationists attempt to place doubt on empiricism to undermine Science.

I would start by asking you to validate why it's even a valid ethical model to be followed that we would want to use self-ownership to derive.
Why would any goal of justification be lining the theory you want to justify up with the categorical imperative? _________________ “Here, here's American Gladiators.
