A Ghostbuster 2 reference...hmmm. That's not quite like making a Caddyshack 2 reference but still treading in dangerous waters. Well done, though.

As for Vlad, I think Maddox put it best, (close as I can remember, net nazis don't like the best page in the universe) "I think we can all agree that impaling 10,000 people on sticks as a negotiating tactic is sufficiently awesome."

Vlad is considered to be a national hero in the region where he ruled. He saved a lot of people by using what, to us, seems the very height of cruelty.

I do remember a story about him that doesn't sit well with me. He gave a banquet for all the beggars and other undesirables in his city, and when they were all inside eating his food, he had the doors closed and locked and burnt the place to the ground with all those people inside, thereby ridding his city of homeless bums. Don't know if the story's true, though.
