I was browsing through Barnes & Noble's website when I noticed something rather...strange.
Check out what category Sam Harris' book The End of Faith is listed under- here.
Why? Does anyone know? _________________ "There is no such uncertainty, as a sure thing."-Robert Burns

Maybe because most books have their content based off the first few pages, which is where Sam lays his suicide bomber analogy. _________________ "Setting people on fire is wrong." -Todd "Squee" Casil. |

Well yes, but it isn't like it's the main theme of his book, and it's not like he is endorsing it! Infact, he is doing the exact opposite...
I find this rather strange.
I mean, look at where Letter to a Christian Nation is listed under. Why is, what can be seen as "The End of Faith part duex", under the "Religion" genre and End of Faith under terrorism? Maybe I'm looking too deeply into this.... _________________ "There is no such uncertainty, as a sure thing."-Robert Burns

Hmm....seriously? Not trying to be cynical or anything, but how do you know?
I mean, how do you know that is the process they use to label books? _________________ "There is no such uncertainty, as a sure thing."-Robert Burns

I mean, how do you know that is the process they use to label books? | Just a hunch. Most online book sellers offer the first few pages as samples, and jacket summaries read a lot like those said pages. _________________ "Setting people on fire is wrong." -Todd "Squee" Casil. |

Hmm...I wonder if Sam Harris knows about this? Again though, I might be looking too deeply into this. _________________ "There is no such uncertainty, as a sure thing."-Robert Burns

Ya, I'm about to head to my local Barnes & noble bookstore to pick up some new(er) textbooks anyway, I'm gonna ask them wtf is up with this when I get there.
I read The End of Faith from my college library and they had it right where it belonged, in the Philosophy section. _________________ "There is no such uncertainty, as a sure thing."-Robert Burns
