Spore Update

Hey guys, I know I haven't posted in forever but I saw this on Kotaku and thought you guys would enjoy it. Essentially someone leaked the free demo of the creature creator from spore. I downloaded it and was really impressed.

You barely have any custimization options, and yet... its crazy, the things you can create, and then how they come to life in just a matter of seconds!

It's also extremely handy how, like, there's gonna be ridiculously low specs needed for the game.

Be sure to read up on the activation hassles of Mass Effect woes locking out the owners who bought it before even thinking of paying EA for Spore. You might not want to be a legal owner thanks to the onerous DRM bullshit in it, but YMMV.

i would download this, but atm i am totally addicted to mass effect, so itll have to wait untill i finished with that, although the full game will probs be out by then lol

also DRM is shite, it doesnt work against people who know how to hack games, the only people it inconviniences are the people who actually buy a legit copy Rolling Eyes

and they wonder why no one buys games anymore, its just easier not to Laughing

Spore is fantastic but the EA Download Manager is fucking bullshit. My brother bought full demo and has aparently downloaded it, even though there is absolutely no trace of it anywhere on our computer. He is not happy at having given EA £5 seemingly for nothing when he could have got it for free off of a torrent site.
