Still not as good as the game it's trying to leech off of, Guitar Hero, which I have.
I've never played rockband and it's too expensive for me to bother. I could afford it, I just preder to spend that money on luxaries like clothing and things like buffy props. _________________
i LOVE this game. some of the best money i ever spent on a game. I bought it for my little brother for his birthday in November. we've played the HELL out of it. They keep coming it with more and more awesome songs for download, so, there's always something new.
We got a Guitar Hero guitar, so we have a FULL 4-piece band... Singer (moi), Lead Guitar (My brother), Bass (his gamer girlfriend), and drums (a buddy of ours).

looks like an awesome game, but i dont have £180 to waste on a game
also how the fuck does it cost double in the UK and EU, pfft
how does the singing part actually work, does it actually go off how well you sound or whether you just make a noise at the right time like some of the other karoke games on the market, cant remember names though _________________

it uses pitch. which means that you can alter your octave, lower or higher, and be fine as long as you hit the correct pitch. there are a handful of songs that i have go falsetto on, in order to hit the pitch, but most of them i can just stay in my normal octave range and do fine.
for singing, there are the singing parts, tempo parts (tambourine, cowbell, etc) and 'talky parts' which are more of a timing/sustain thing.
