Racism, like religion, is a construct of the mind. It plays on the minds and feelings. There are those who use racism to further their own agenda, and there are those who are willing to play along because they are born suckers. Of course, ignorance, superstition and gullibility play their role in this enactment. And like religion -- put patriotism in that bag -- it won't go away, no matter how enlighted we become. It's like the measles, it always shows up with every new generation...

Or... You took the "crack" right out of my whip...
I'm perfectly aware that african american's make me uncomfortable. I've tried to conciously make myself comfortable around them, but to now avail. If that makes me racist, then I'm sorry. If it helps, I try to go out of my way to be nice to african americans when I meet them. _________________ Americanism -- n. e.g. Who gives a shit??

But I agree that we need to laugh at racism.....and not to rehash this thread all over again, but I think we just parted ways on what constitutes "laughing at racism".
Wow. Did you actually read what I fucking wrote? You've completely missed the point of my post. I wonder why? Ignorance does in fact precede racism. Which one is blinding you here? Goodbye.
Wow....I think that just went over my head....what just happened here?
You said the road to ending racism is paved with laughter.....and I replied by saying I agree with you, but we disagree on what is funny. Is there something wrong with that that I'm missing or am I in the twilight zone? _________________ "Faith is often the boast of the man who is too lazy to investigate." - F.M. Knowles

You sound like black people are aliens or something. What about people with darker skin makes you uncomfortable? _________________ "Faith is often the boast of the man who is too lazy to investigate." - F.M. Knowles

The DBA (Doing Business As) and name of the storefront is We Fix Computers. If it's not that obvious, I don't want that person for a customer. From experience, those are they type who are more trouble than their worth.
When I was working fast food we had this semi-literate customer who thought he was so clever because he would make insulting jokes about the cashiers, and thought he was such a wit because we didn't tell him to fuck off. Obviously we were left speechless by his cleverness. Actually we wanted our jobs just enough to not throw the coffee pot at him.
I got so fed up one day when I saw him walk in I told the manager to wait on him instead, that I absolutely refused to. The manager was quite confused until he waited on him...
He actually asked him to leave and never come back. _________________ Nos laetus edo qui votum opprimo nobis.
