No, McQuatto is probabaly not like the Dry-Drunk-in-Chief. Georgie-poo is shallow, McQuatto is stupid... But at least he fucked Skelewhore-- although his pre-nup must emasculate him...

Why did Obama lie about this?

Obama says concerning his vote on the Born-Alive Infants Protection Act (This Act extends protection to an infant born alive after a failed attempt at induced abortion) when he was in the Illinois State Senate about 6 years ago, that he would have voted for the bill if the federal "neutrality clause" (This clause specified that it didn't affect Roe one way or another) was in it .

However it has recently come to light that the exact same clause Obama said wasn't in the bill was actually placed in the bill by the very committee Obama chaired.

So Obama lied about this for the past 6 years.

My question is why did he lie and say the clause was not in the Illinois bill? Trying to appeal to more people is not an excuse.

I honestly believe the presidency of the United states is way beyond his paygrade.

McCain is hardly a Bush clone, but he is certainly an intellectual lightweight, who has to now employ the same, tired, bullshit smear tactics that Bush effectively used in his campaigns.

Unfortunately, that bullshit resonates with other intellectual lightweights...just like Obama's fluffly 'change and hope' bullshit, resonates with his target audience of lightweights.

The country, and the world, is facing a plethora of incredibly complex ecomonic, foreign policy and environmental issues that neither of these lightweights care to touch with a 10 foot pole.

It's always much easier to simply pander and preen to whatever your audience wants to hear...and that's what both these bozos do.

Unfortunately, the average American, with his snout in the public trough, doesn't want someone to tell them that they are going to have to make do with LESS. That they no longer can get unlimited healthcare, and cheap energy, gas and food. That they have to compete with other worldwide labor forces who are willing to work harder for less. That the US can no longer afford to use the US military as the world's police force.

No...they want the same ole smoke blown up their ass every 4 years.

*my underlining*

What you've described is exactly a Bush clone -- an intellectual lightweight. OTOH, Obama went from an unknown to a celebrity, tho' these days, celebrities come a dozen a dime. So he's green and needs to prove himself, other than bantering to the idiots, but that is inevitable when the vast majority of Americans ARE idiots.

Still, voting for McCain is like giving an approval yes to what has happened in the last 8 years, and that is a no-no in my book.

The local scuttlebutt around here is that Obama might pick Joe Biden for VP. There's been national media camped out at his house the past few days. That would certainly help regarding the arguments about Obama's lack of experience, especially with foreign affairs.

does anyone here still think Obama has a chance of winning? if Obama was smart he'd pack up his campiagn and donate all his money to charity

I think McCain is going to win in one of the biggest landslides in history, I think Obama will only win a few states, and I wouldnt be surprised if he doesnt win any

You are basically asking a large percentage of people who voted for W to now vote for a black man with a muslim sounding name, as well as most of these old cunt women(Democrats) who are bitter that Obama beat Hillary are now gonna vote for McCain

Obama has no prayer of winning, I knew this back a few months ago when he had a commanding lead over McCain and now that McCain is closing the gap, it just makes more sense

As of August 21st my prediction is Obama wins Hawaii and that is it

And the Obama campaign really pushed itself to soon, they peaked to soon, especially that thing in Berlin, what was that about? not that I am blaming them because the real problem is the selfishness and arrogance of the average American, but if Obama really had the campaign they had the last few months and made it more towards September/October. I think he would have a better shot, but now there really is no coming back, they peaked to soon, McCain is going to win this thing in a landslide, in a month McCain is gonna be ahead in the polls something like 65-35

Especially now that gas prices seem to be coming down a little and the economy seems to be improving a little I think, gee is it a coincidence gas prices seem to be coming down right before the election? Last time this happened was in 2006 before the congress elections, then literaly the day after the Democrats won prices shot up again

But no, there is no conspiracy, just the fact the oil companies all donate heavily to the Republican party and there are plenty of politicians in Washington who are tied close to the oil companies is all a coincidence

Tbh, I think Obama will win by a landslide. His whole "hope and change" campaign just appeals to the politically uneducated youngins.

Your underlining is just an illusion.

Sorry...just because two people loosely share a common attribute, doesn't make them clones. You should look up the word 'clone', lest I start thinking of you, as an intellectual lightweight.

I see McCain as much more like Bob Dole. A war veteran, an older, long tenured Senator, witty, but also caustic...knows his way around Washington (much better than G.W. ever did) but doesn't exactly inspire, and is not an eloquent, handsome man...like his competitor.

Like the ones calling McCain a 'clone' of Bush.

What exactly has happened in the last 8 years...that wasn't happening in the 8 before that? McCain and Bush were actually quite at odds on a number of things...and there is no love lost between the two.

Both these guys are US Senators...and the Senate has done SQUAT...in the last 4 years.

Like I said before...

If god had meant man to vote...

...he would have given him good candidates.

Now for a bit of Irrelevant News that won't change the outcome of the election one bit.

Democrats, Republicans Miss Texas Deadline to Certify Presidential Nominees

Texas Law has parties certify their nominees 70 days before the election, which this year os August 26th. According to the law neither McCain nor Obama should be on the ballot.
