Irrelevant. Weren't the Hebrews suppose to be learned people and scholars? They weren't always desert tribes, even back then. I get a big laugh them people think that the peoples of ancient times were completely stupid and had absolutely no clue about the world around them. "Oh, aliens must have built the pyramids..." They were mainly ignorant, not stupid. Stupid is forever, ignorance can be cured with knowledge. The point still stands that microscopes did exist for thousands of years beforehand.

What a retard you are. No wonder I know that you're scum. You must be happy in your little deluded world. Why should it ever bother me that you and those like you don't like me at all? Why should I care about the opinions of scum? All you could ever be is entertainment, ditz. |
"Learned people" is a far cry from "Advanced Modern Scientist". Where are you getting your information? The Sci Fi channel? And I do like you. You are one of my favorite posters. |

Even Ancient Egypt was a highly technical culture. No, I got it from the same place I learned about the microscope. And as for the last bit. Whatever. Its not mutual. You excuse pedophiles to easily just because its part of the religion. _________________ America is not worth the effort anymore. RIP. It was suicide. |

No, I just don't think they were pedophiles. By highly technical culture, this means they knew a lot about bacteria and singled bodied organisms? Do you have any proof at all that ANYONE from that time knew and understood exactly why infection was caused at all? You need more than a Greek experiment with glass to prove this. You need actual evidence that ancient Jews and desert tribes had this knowledge. When you can prove that, then you might...MIGHT...have a point. But you know you don't and you know you are just embarrassing yourself at this point.
Not only did'nt you not have any evidence that the Jews were having secret meetings to find new and improved ways to molest children, you don't have proof that the reason for this ritual was for sexual purposes. Retard. |

Even though the practice has a very sexual aspect to it.

They may have not known about Germ Theory directly, but they did know of the affects of it through proper hygiene. As I had said, ancient civilizations weren't completely ignorant about the world around them. They may not have known the exact causes, but they knew about the affects of them were anyways.
Oh, BTW, much early knowledge was lost when the Great Library of Alexandra was destroyed as well, but of what remains does show their high cultures, even back then. Believe it or not the Ancient Egyptians actually did build their pyramids, and many of the other wonders of the ancient world as well. And they did practice medicine as well that actually did work. They didn't need any help from aliens. And neither did many of the other ancient civilizations either. You make it sound as if they were all mindless animals just running around. Civilization is around 10,000 years old you know.

Jews have many laws in regards to hygiene. How to handle and prepare their food and to certain personal practices. They don't say this was about germs directly, but nonetheless that is what they are about. Imagine, a goy knowing more about this than one of the chosen.

I never actually made such a claim, you did.
Somehow that doesn't have the desired effect you may wish it did considered my opinion of you already. _________________ America is not worth the effort anymore. RIP. It was suicide.

Yes, to modern Western thought it would.

So you agree that they didn't know that the mouth was probably not the best way to clean a wound, right?

And you make it sound like they just had to drive over to the nearest free clinic and get a couple stitches. So you are basing all of your "evidence" on the Library of Alexandra? That's it? That is all you have? That there "may" have been some evidence to back you up?

Yeah. Because Uncle Chaim had a glass of goat milk and then a pork chop and died. So they assumed that one, or a combination of both, probably killed him. They were half right, since odds were, either or had gone bad or had deadly bacteria on it. Their laws were based mostly on observation, like any other tribes back in the day. But without proper sanitation_ wait. Why am I explaining this to you? This is basic bullshit that any kid knows. You are grasping at straws. You have zero evidence. That is the end of the discussion. When you have something more than some crackpot, half assed babbling then post it. Until then, stop making such an ass of yourself.

It always was.

Irrelevant, they may not have known the cause only that it wasn't clean.

Hardly. Its just your bias showing. That you can only believe that one needs high technology in order to have a high culture or even science at all.
| Quote: | | So you are basing all of your "evidence" on the Library of Alexandra? That's it? That is all you have? That there "may" have been some evidence to back you up? |
Again, hardly. I'm basing it on the evidence that did survive.

So what if they thought that it was evil spirits, and the like. It had the same results in the end.

Irrelevant. Same results.

I'm not the one who is grasping. You've done more to prove my point than anything else by these statements. They knew that clean was better than unclean... It doesn't really matter if they fully understood why.
