Look, I'm as pro free speech as the next guy. But at 3:31 Sunday afternoon 8 out of the 10 most recent topics was either the start of, redirect to, or climax of the running battle between someone named Imperator and Paranoia 21. 8 out of 10. Say it out loud, it sounds even more ridiculous out loud. Between the two of them, they have roughly 300 posts in the post 48 hours.
What the hell? Is this forum turning into Ethical Atheist? We let Trout the Gerbil shit all over the board for a week. Then it was some muslim imbecile for another week, and now a cool dozen threads of these two posting by the hundreds with the same "screw you - no! screw you!" argument since Friday.
I don't get it. This is supposedly the more fiery half of Reggie's group, and the last month or so we have allowed the board to be totally overrun by every Abraham, Mahmoud and Jesus who staggers into town.
Mods, how about it? Let us have our forum back?

Okay, I'm stopping my bad behavior. I admit, I've been a bit rude (okay a lot) but I'm just frustrated at a person over the internet and now I realize how silly it all is. After having some sleep and some time to think about it, I realize I was just making a situation worse. I don't regret the things I said, I just regret the fact that I said them and completely ruining the forums for yesterday (6/10-6/11). My apologies to everyone in AF and I will rein in my behavior and actually discuss sensible things rather than being a forum troll. I'm really really sorry.

Thanks for raising your concerns, FlatEarth. I have notified all mods of this thread.
My personal opinion - the Twebbers did not shit all over the forum. As was obvious I get on very well with them. However that is a personal thing and I appreciate there was much divided opinion on this.
Regarding the recent muslim crank, cranks come and go and AFAIK he has now gone.
Imperator and Paranoia have indeed filled the forum with crap the past couple of days. Their interactions are now confined to "Enter the Darkness" so simply avoid those threads for now.

Paranoia is one of your "ethcial atheists". While you were counting posts, I was counting fucktards, fuckng retards, cum comments and so on by him/her.
The Twebbers were fun. There were atheist Twebbers as well as theists and they are a good example of how thinking and humor can be had in a good discussion. Alas! Have they left?
I do agree with you that at this point, there isn't a lot of reason to read this forum. I have hopes that we will see signs of intelligence and harmony back again soon. |

I'm done talking to the Christard. I know I have been posting worthless back-and-forth arguements the last couple days, and for that I am truly sorry. I was dragged into the black hole, but now I'm back. Again, sorry to whomever it may concern.
I'm especially sorry to FlatEarth and ricky. I have been an asshole, but it was only because this bastard sucked me in.

First of all Ethical Atheist is an atheist forum, not a state of being. Secondly, Paranoia ain't nothing of mine. I don't know him or take responsibility for his actions. Thirdly, who even asked you? I want them both to stop, not just the holy roller.
And I really don't care how much you enjoy the T-Webbers. This is an ATHEIST forum, and to some of us, one weirdo Jesus loving pseudo-hippie is probably too many. But it is one thing to tolerate the civil and harmless, and another to let the mental inmates run the asylum. If you like the T-Webbers so much, why not join them there instead of encouraging them to run amok in a forum site for ATHEISTS.

1. Ah, my bad. Thank you. Indeed Ethical Atheist is first and foremost a person, then a website and also a forum. I will look it over more closely. 2. Agreed Paranoia isn't your responsibility but this post was started and since I had a few opinions on him/her, I thought it would keep forum clutter down to comment here. Thirdly, I think I answered that with the second. You didn't say mods only so it was an open thread. Open threads on forums don't need an invitation.

And I really don't care how much you don't like the Twebbers.  I wasn't directly addressing you. It was in the post but it was a general comment. I have belonged to that forum almost as long as I have this one but I think they are much more fun over here. ( I really don't have time for many forums so I occasionally visit there and others but this is my main forum) Not that you care but since I've been here 3 years longer than you I don't think I need a newbie telling me to get lost 
And just a reminder that this forum is not for ATHEISTS only. At the top of just about every page connected to this forum, there is this quote: "community website for freethinkers, atheists, agnostics and believers." As it happens, I am all four of those so this forum is for me  |
