Yeah, don't have an instrument anymore. I did have an electric keyboard for a while, though. Wasn't good at it, but it was lots of fun! _________________ "True wisdom is less presuming than folly. you weren't good at the keyboard or the viola?
I take it you rented the viola? perhaps played it in school? you should save up and get your self a viola. speaking as a person who currently is dreaming of being a good musician, I can't imagine anyone who has developed that skill, giving it up.

Played viola in school, wasn't good. Played keyboard a bit since then, wasn't good at that, either, but enjoyed it. Had to play with earphones on, so as not to get beaten! _________________ "True wisdom is less presuming than folly. Maybe you should work with them and blow those old fashioned electric guitars out of the water.
Infact I can already see the headlines; hillbillyatheist feat. Apocalyptica goes triple platinum.
well I'd prefer to make it big in country music, but nothing says I couldn't do some kickass stuff with this cello band! pipe-dreams make life worth living don't they?

I got a new fiddle today. well, actually its a very old fiddle (hand made in the 1800s) , but its new as in I just got it. it sounds much better than my cheap violin. I don't plan to put a sticker on its finger board (showing me where to put my fingers) . I will now begin to try and play without the sticker and use my cheap violin with the sticker to help me as needed. this way I can wean myself off of the sticker. the guy gave me a nice bow to go with it that is much more conformable to use than my cheapo fiberglass bow.
I am very happy with the "new" fiddle and the new bow.
