I'm sure this has been talked about to some extent, but these are just some observations I've had. This is meant to be a serious comment, not a mockery of Christianity.
God and Santa Claus have many similiarities:
-Both require some type of offering (milk and cookies/prayer and church)
-If you don't believe in either, you won't get your reward in the future.
-They reward you for being good for a certain period of time (presents/heaven)
-They punish you for being bad (coal/hell)
-They both have many stories substantiating their existence ("'Twas the Night Before Christmas"/The Bible)
and on a lighter note, both have big white beards.

You left out an important similarity:

Hah! I'll humor you...What's the first?
Oh and thanks for the link. That guy did a much better job than I did comparing God to Santa. =P _________________ "I contend that we are both atheists. I just believe in one fewer god than you do.
