It's like legislating the value of pi to 3. _________________ "Atheists are the driving force behind what I call Big Secularism. Card-carrying members of BS have snaked their way into every branch of our government, except for the judicial and executive. Democratic Representative Pete Stark of California's 13th district, to name just one." -Stephen Colbert |

These people act like this is all some great insult to Pluto. It's a freaking hunk of rock and ice a long way away. I think Pluto will get over it.

Bwahahahaha. That's terrific. Are they serious? The jokes just write themselves. _________________ "The very existence of flame throwers proves that some time, somewhere, someone said to themselves, 'You know, I want to set those people over there on fire, but I'm just not close enough to get the job done.' - George Carlin

Well then. I questioned my place in the universe when it snowed the other day. I was not expecting the snow and it caused psychological harm to myself and others. Michigan weather is very instable and it affects us all! This needs to be Legislated and fast! We all like to talk about the weather but no one is willing to do anything about it! _________________ Fuck you bitch!!! I told you the asparagus is in the freezer! - William Shatner

Well, Earth is just a hunk of rock and ice. With trees on it.

Wiktionary's definition:
Planet
(astronomy) Any of various rocky or gaseous spherical bodies orbiting the Sun, specifically the eight major bodies of Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune. The Galilean moons, four asteroids, and the dwarf planet Pluto were formerly included, in the 17th, 19th, and 20th centuries respectively.
Seems that Pluto was not the first to go. _________________ The Body and Blood of Christ, mmmmmmmm |

| Does anyone think it matters whether pluto is a planet or not? It's just some word we made up to describe something, it's not like Pluto's up there wondering. Or aliens are going to come down and be like "Haha, you guys think Plutos a planet?! We are soo out of here." I'm amazed when I see people arguing about it or telling me definately it is or isn't, especially when it's not even someone who is involved in science. |
