Some of my favorite bands come out of Finland. I LOVE your guys' language, though I can't speak a word of it. |
Wow thats the first time I have ever heard anyone say that they love our language, usually they just say it sounds weird.
Thanks |
Timo Rautiainen & Trio Niskalaukaus did that to me. Maybe it's just the way they use Finnish, but it sounds really beautiful comin out of them. _________________ Namaste,

They are OK, I prefer Kotiteollisuus over them in the heavier Finnish language music section. I am curious though how did you ran into the music of Timo Rautiainen & Trio Niskalaukaus.
Edit............................................
Oh and if you wish to compare spoken Finnish to sung Finnish there's this music video by Kotiteollisuus which has some spoken Finnish in the beginning and in the end. I posted it already in the Best music video thread but I'll post the link in here too.

Thanks, I'll check them out!
Another Finnish poster told me about Timo.
I found that their musical structures are unusual, and their use of language is very expressive. Good stuff. _________________ Namaste,
