She had to have been really fucked up/sick at the time, because her voice PLUS her looks are really off there. I have seen them in concert twice, and they are alot better than this... I would be impressed if this was a 13 year old garage band, but a professional band? I don't care what anybody says, Nirvana, Pearl Jam, all these "90's" bands......they're still MUSIC people. I happen to know RaTM came out in the 90's......91!.......and I have a Rolling Stones concert polaroid that's dated on my damn birthday, July of 1974. (Given by the photo taker, an 'old' pal on my 23rd birthday, thanks Beej!)
So, music is even if you hit the 'inappropriate' decade.
Are there no jazz or soul fans on this whole board, by the way? That's sad. Learn your musical history, people. We'd have NO rock if it wasn't for old fashioned......BLACK GOSPEL and BLACK MANS BLUES, mofo. That progressed into everything, from pop to heavy metal.
Joplin, Zeppelin, even Pearl Jam and Nirvana and Dave Matthews AND the Rolling Stones wouldn't be what they were if it was not for music appreciation of those that came prior. Sure they'd be something, but not quite with that undeniable edge.
My listens don't have as much to do with my rant I think, but they do to me so that has to matter. Er....to me........
And I still say that 'embedding disabled by request' is total shit.
