Has Atheist Forums declined since the days of the IG forums?

I know this is likely going to start a flame war but in my view AF has seemingly gotten noticeably more sophomoric over the last six months to a year. It seems many of the posters I respect and have learned from have stopped posting here. Most of the women that used to post are now gone. In general, the threads have gotten more personal and immature. And it seems to be slowly worsening as the months roll by.

Anyone else feeling this way? Confused

Im new(relative), and have been noticing things declining from when I joined, so yeah, I would say I feel that way also.

I haven't been here for that long but I still notice that the forum is declining, although I'm glad to see the new mods making changes and trying to "spruce up" the place, they are making a difference. Although... I may be behind some of the immaturity on the board, I try to keep my ramblings and bad jokes to threads tat are already dead or completely off topic in the first place.

Bigger changes need to be made and we somehow need to attract more posters.

I've been lurking and posting on these forums for more then a year (I lurked months before I registered), and I have to say that I don't see a decline at all.

This forum has always had a certain......charm to it.

It has taken a major nose dive since I have been here. The days of Todangst and the likes are gone.
IG's site is only a few posts a day. I don't go to RRS.

Meh...no biggie, not like there has been a new Christian argument in the past century or so.
