that was really unnecessary on your part. Im almost embarrassed to call you a fellow atheist. Just because you are atheist doesnt give you a license to intimidate, belittle, or harass. What an arrogant little child you look like now. Was this at a college? I highly doubt it. I think your making it all up. But if you are not here is some advice, why the fuck would you ware a shirt like that? Why not get one that says EVOLUTION IS FACT instead. I bet you never get laid, because the majority of women dont like arrogant assholes like you. Take off that shirt or your never going to get your dick wet _________________ I know the game is crazy it's mo' crazy than it's ever been. I'm married to that crazy BITCH call me kevin federline.

You mean like the hundreds of strangers that go to pick up people from that school at that time everyday?
| JBCuzISaidSo wrote: | | The lady that shoed you had every right, though you could have said that you attend classes there for college. That may have involved interrupting her rude butt though...in front of the officer...... |
Technically I don't attend the school. (Since i'm no longer registered there) But yeah I should have told her that I was takin classes there but I was a a bit flustered about the whole situation. It was a tad unexpected.
| JBCuzISaidSo wrote: | | OK anyways, safety is important and had I witnessed a strange loiterer in my kids' school parking lot right before the bell I would have appreciated the rude lady. |
I wasn't loitering heheh I had literally just gotten out of my car. She approached me right as I shut the door.
| JBCuzISaidSo wrote: | | Could you have just sat in your car? Not that it matters I just like to ask questions. |
Funny thing is I actually asked her if I could sit in my car and wait but she told me no =((

Possibly. I will find out about that soon as I have emailed the administration about it.

Very possible.

Perhaps haha.

I absolutely believe there were plausible reasons for as to why it went down like that, but I don't believe any of the reasons justified such an ousting.

Mahhh... Her existence must be hell already. Confronting ignorance with logical inquiry is something to be embarrassed about?

I do tend to agree. Probably was about your shirt, though? Just a guess. If not she does sound a little nutso about her job. Hope she gets paid for that and didn't volunteer so she could yell at people.......
Fine, don't egg her car. (DAMMIT!)
Buy all your pals in the school the same t-shirt. Set a designated day of the week to wear it. _________________

at my college, you can make any group you want, as long as you get a teacher to be involved and a few people in it.
i should make an atheist group and have us all just sit in a circle and do absolutely nothing.
not bother a single person.
just have the group.
people will still probly get mad |

As for that lady who harassed him. Some people are just jerks. She might just be an unhappy person who takes it out on others, especially if no one likes her.
That or she was on her period Good ole inappropriate humor.
Anywho, its all about HOW he confronted the bible passing out guy. If you approached him in a threatening manner I think that's no good, but thats probably not what happened. As for the T-Shirt, it IS exactly the same as someone with some "JESUS LOVES YOU" shirt or a shirt with a big cross or John 3:16 on it. Exact same thing. However, one is deemed inappropriate, one is deemed an acceptable expression of religious beliefs. Its definitely a double standard.
As for the guy passing out bibles, if he was across the street from campus, arguably its perfectly legal. Some might say standing across the street is close enough that it shouldn't be allowed, but technically its ok.
Those bible passing out morons would come to my high school years ago and would stand across the street. To my memory, they never preached or really said much of anything... They just passed out the bibles.
I would always take one. If they wanna waste their money, I'll be happy to help. I think they were passing out new testaments though. Those guys usually do. They can't expect a high schooler to actually read through the long, BORING old testament with all of its violence and dickheaded behavior on God's part.
But once again, these religious people have this really STRANGE idea that the bible is just one big conversion tract. Its soooo not. People who already believe might read it it and they'll go along with it, but who cares, they already believe. The non believers are going to start reading and are quickly going to think to themselves, "uh, this is lame/boring/bullshit" and toss it.
So in other words, I don't see much of a problem with these jokers who pass out bibles. They're just wasting their time and their money. Sounds good to me _________________ "There's a new sheriff in town, and he's dedicated to fiscal discipline"

It can make a decent paperweight. _________________ "The very existence of flame throwers proves that some time, somewhere, someone said to themselves, 'You know, I want to set those people over there on fire, but I'm just not close enough to get the job done.' - George Carlin

Might make a good paper nut-rag, and it would be deliciously sacrilegious. Maybe I'll give it a shot. _________________ "There's a new sheriff in town, and he's dedicated to fiscal discipline"

Tbh, I can't remember how exactly I approached him (I was rather flustered) but I do distinctly remember him trying to give me a bible and that is when I started asking questions and pointing out flaws.
| jkorath wrote: | | As for the guy passing out bibles, if he was across the street from campus, arguably its perfectly legal. Some might say standing across the street is close enough that it shouldn't be allowed, but technically its ok. |
He was inside the parking lot. At the entrance of the parking lot.
| jkorath wrote: | | Those bible passing out morons would come to my high school years ago and would stand across the street. To my memory, they never preached or really said much of anything... They just passed out the bibles. |
That's what they did except they were inside the parking lot (some of them were across the street, however.) But the man I approached was inside the parking lot.

Yeah these guys were only passing out the New Testament. That is why, when I approached them, I brought my bible with me (my bible has the old and new testament) so I could point out contradictions easier and have a direct source for my claims.
| jkorath wrote: | So in other words, I don't see much of a problem with these jokers who pass out bibles. They're just wasting their time and their money. Sounds good to me |
Yeah, normally I don't have a problem with it. But it was the fact that *I* was the one considered a trespasser and not those 4 nutjobs that made me want to confront them. Especially since the campus lady said that she would deal with them, yet nothing happened. _________________ "Shake off all the fears of servile prejudices, underwhich weak minds are servilely crouched.
