I've been...tired. Not drinking is the easy part. Staying awake is hard. I guess alcohol must be a stimulant not a depressant for me- But what you expect, was introduced to alcohol at a very young age-about 6-he he (not large amounts), I should be dead.

Not heavy drinking...tut...noo, just introduced to it as my mother made loads of wine (and still does), although when on holidays abroad, had spirits and liqueurs. Yum. The Spanish and French allowed it...so did my parents- Laughing

This is a funny video lol. This is where I did my basic/boot camp here int he states (Ft sill Oklahoma). Shit, those might be the same barracks lol.

I love it when at 30-35 second mark he is like "No Drill sgt, I don't wanna go home! "Why do you yell private? "Cuz Jesus told me to" lol.

The closet I've ever seen on film to some aspects of boot camp is the first 30 minutes of "Full Metal Jacket".

Except our troops do a minimum of 20 weeks training before seeing action.

During the Vietnam War,it was 23 weeks,with an extra 3 weeks Jungle training in tropical rain forrests in Northern Queensland.

Of course US recruits show in movies are a bunch of pussies. However, US Rangers and SEALS do seem a little strict. A bit like our Special Air Services,those guys are harsh. Shocked
