It's basically where old people go to listen to lectures, and I'm going to vist my grandparents. During the week I'm going the topic is Darwin and Linnaeus: Their impact on our view of the natural world. Should be interesting, at the very least better than the week I was forced to go to on aging /shudder.
I'll be there from tuesday till thursday, you can see the speakers if you scroll down to week nine and look at 19-21. Any recognizable names?

As an Aussie, whenever anyone mentions "Darwin" I automatically think of our wonderful Northern city, rather than a towering genius of The Victorian Age. So,when you wrote "Darwin Week", I thought "Wow! That would be a blast!! Off your face for an entire week!"
Of course, being an intelligent and sophisticated human being, you've chosen the more sober course, and will no doubt be high on science.
