foolishpwnzr,
I'm so glad that you found some outlet to vent your thoughts and frustrations. This site has been many things to all of us, but your OP reminded me of myself as I started to rise above the fog of religion.
Check out this thread for a couple of folks, including me, that have a very similar story.

Damn! is really hard to think like an atheist in a muslim family. I don't know if you are scared for thinking that way, but i'm with you. But is better now to keep it secret, till you know for sure what are you think about your religion, or get all information possible.
Take care! _________________ R.I.P. Piero. We'll always remember you <3. |

Hi guys,
lots of responses wow lol, thanks for the support. Yeah im kind of confused right now about my religious feelings. I don't really believe in God, but I dont consider myself and atheist either, its a strange emotion. I'll try to keep it to myself and expand on my information, as many people stated, this free thought thing is kind of scary. Before I was surrounded by barriers and rules of what existed, what didn't, what is wrong and what is right. But now, all of those things have been lifted, the world has no barriers.
For those of you who asked, by the way, I am 16, entering 12th grade of High School. I am taking AP course in Psychology merely to expand my knowledge on how the brain works, I have become very interested in this idea of religion and how people continue to practice this "addiction". |

Wonderful post Mr_C, exactly what I was thinking.
Welcome to the forums foolishpwnzr. I hope you can at least find a little comfort in knowing that you aren't alone. At all. _________________

your muslim and you're starting to realize how much of a pain in the ass it is to go around and kill all infidels? Yes I realize how that would be hard. _________________ A cosmic Jewish Zombie who was his own father can make you live forever if you symbolically eat his fleshand drink his blood; while telepathically tell him you accept him as your master so he can remove an evil force from your soul that is present in humanity because a rib-woman was convinced by a talking snake to eat from a magical tree.

Actually it was not an anti-Semitic remark at all, and the reason I removed it because it had nothing to do with the thread.
What I wrote was:
"That IsraJew, which the Muslims think has no right to exist, and the rest of the world thinks it was a big mistake by the UN?"
And many would throw Israel and the Jews to the wolves, hoping that it would placate the Muslims, and bring peace to the world.
How wrong they are. Because they will be next. It is feeding the crocodile, hoping they will be eaten last.
BTW, I lived in Israel 1956 - 1967 and served in the IDF for 2.5 years. (Missed the 6 Day war by 2 weeks.) _________________ “The hardest thing to explain is the glaringly evident which everybody had decided not to see.” - Ayn Rand |
