No, just the religions that prescribe predestination in their doctrine (In the case of the Bible: Galatians 4, Ehpesians 2, Romans 7) and all religions that ascribe to an omniscient god. And I wouldn't say I have an issue with the concept, either. I just have an issue with people who don't understand their own scripture and the attributes of the god that is defined by their particular scripture.

If you were afraid,your action was brave.
The polite response to a sincere compliment is "thank you".
Dismissive modesty and self deprecation is disrespectful to the person who offers the compliment.
I was taught good manners are simply showing consideration for the feelings of others.
But, I'm a boring,opinionated old fart,what would I know?  |
