That Minnesota study that observed that "atheists" are the least trusted minority in the US might be the single most socially beneficial meme ever for public opinion of atheist.

This is anecdotal, but there seems to a dramatic up tick in atheist stories and atheist coverage since that study was released. I wonder if some in the media sympathize and are seeking tolerance of atheism in a similar way was they push to humanize other discriminated minorities like homosexuals and African-Americans using human interest stories.

How retarded is that Ryan Anderson guy? He claims that "militant atheism" is the public image of atheism, and what does he cite as examples? He cites two lawsuits. Ex-fucking-squeeze me? Since when did lawsuits become militant? Perhaps "militant" would better describe threats of violence and actual violence toward people conducting controversial yet legal actions... Now let's see... What atheists are typically responsible for threatening to kill or actually killing parental planning physicians? (Not to mention all the morons waiting impatiently for Yahweh & Son, Inc. to slaughter people by the billions.)

well first dont impose on he atheist rights or the musloms or the jews or the wiccans right to NOT have to pray in school...pray at home or in the millions of billion dollar buildings you have vying for your faith....

if europe is falling to islam because a lack of christianity why isnt canada...there is complete acceptance of atheism where i live in toronto canada.
