This isn't the first old astronaut to say Aliens exist. I don't buy it. He could be doing it for the money (easy to get a book deal now, plus payment for interviews). Or he could just be crazy.
It's just too odd that these guys wait until they're in their old age before they throw out all this conspiracy stuff.
Depends, when questioning a NASA employee, always proceed with caution.

I've got a buddy who's really into this alien shit. He's a good guy overall, even if he likes some woo-woo shit. Anyway, he was commenting about how he doesn't understand why what Edgar Mitchell is saying is news now, supposedly, he has been making similar claims for years and years. _________________ Please visit my site at www.caseagainstfaith.com featuring critiques of Lee Strobel and other apologetics

Easy one. There's no potential job loss when you get to your seventies unless you want to run for president

Well, a fellow named Enrico Fermi once asked, "If intelligent aliens exist, where are they?"
Maybe they've been here all along, and we just have't seen them on Larry King yet!
I got it through the grapevines that the Aliens hate suspenders...yes, all of them... telepathy...

I also am skeptical about life inevitably producing self-aware complex beings.
The clearest indicator we have is that life survived in monocellular form only for 3 billion years on this planet before multicellular life was able to make a go.
Even the earliest known multicellular life, the Edicara, are no more than 700 million years old, less the 15% the total age of the earth. _________________ K Michau

I'm not too interested so much in it but does he have any evidence for his claims?
I'm willing to listen to his evidence.

My first question would be... what took him so long to come out and say something? _________________ A cosmic Jewish Zombie who was his own father can make you live forever if you symbolically eat his fleshand drink his blood; while telepathically tell him you accept him as your master so he can remove an evil force from your soul that is present in humanity because a rib-woman was convinced by a talking snake to eat from a magical tree.

As I said a few posts above, at least according to my woo-woo buddy, he has been saying the same thing for years. Just for some reason it just recently was picked up on by the media. _________________ Please visit my site at www.caseagainstfaith.com featuring critiques of Lee Strobel and other apologetics
