Why is there no thread on Bigfoot? Everyone sarcastically mentions it in other forums, but no one mans up to really discuss it...

Do you think Bigfoot is real? Why or why not? Have you seen Bigfoot? What about the Yeti?

I'm curious to know what people here think about it.

Personally, I think that the idea of a tall anthropoid primate is plausible. Nothing says that it can't be true. The thing is, none of the evidence seems very good. You can analyze the Patterson footage all you want, but you can't prove anything without an actual sasquatch, dead or alive.

Well I personally think one day someone just saw a massive ape or something. Probably a little kid who was towered over by it and went home to their daddy....or he's in the forest next to me and I'm an idiot.

i dont know, lets say that the only reason so few people see them is because they are low in numbers. If it did exist then it would surely be extinct rather quickly. So it doesnt really matter if bigfoot exist he serves no benefit to mankind.

For most of mankind's long history, there've been several different kinds of hominids on the planet. It's not inconcievable that some could've kept such a low profile as to've survived in very remote ares. But I doubt it.

If there is such a species they have somehow developed the unlikely treat of remaining unvisible in a relatively well explored industrial western nation. And that with their size. This treat also applies to the deceased members of the species.
