I'm kinda liking the idea of various cults taking hallucagens to help them 'see god' i can just imagine it now. CULT LEADER ''take the mushrooms of GOD so you can be with him as one'' ME 'Yeah yeah whatever, pass me the tea''

No. My internet spare time is limited to the AF carnival ride of chaos.

I'm somewhat partial to the book of Ecclesiastes. It falls right in line with my opinion that nothing ultimately matters.

Ah, the most pious of holy books, and easily my favorite of the bible, Ecclesiastes.

I just LOVE it when I get to hear fundies try to explain that book away, saying that its consistent with their theology. Hey, Inerrantism, Ecclesiastes has a message for you, "You're fucked!"

Yeah, it says there's no difference between men and beasts! Among other cool stuff.

And its just one more part of the old testament where its assumed there is no afterlife. But, christians are usually able to twist the text as they are so adept at doing.

If you mean the snappy new King James version, I quite like the language. It was deiberately kept arcane like the language of the previous versions it was based on, rather than current language of the time, to give it more gravitas, as if g*d really did spake it thus etc.
