Talula Does the Hula?? How could any sane, compassionate parents give their child such a horrible name? Kids have to put up with enough shit in life, there's no need to add to their problems by giving them a name that sounds clownish. The poor girl was so embarrassed by her name that she insisted she be called "K."

I think it should be illegal for parents to name their kid's stupid crap. They don't undertstand the permanence of names. I'm sure they wouldn't like it if their name was something like "4 Lyfe" or "Sharqualonda."

For some reason, this reminds me of Jay Leno's Headlines, the weddings section. My wife is Filipino, where their custom is for the wife to change her maiden name to her middle name, and the children's middle name is the wife's maiden name. If that was our custom, some of the weddings Leno digs up would make for interesting names. One he had a couple of weeks ago was the McMaster Bates wedding.
