I finally broke down and bought the 10-22mm Canon Lens. I'm looking forward to the extra versatility it'll give me out there in my landscape shooting in particular.
Here's my first shot with it - me checking it out:

Wow. You look menacing.
Congrats! One more to carry. Will it fit into your bag?
I also bought a lens hood for mine, not cheap!
Now I am looking for a decent tele zoom, not too expensive.
I was looking at this and I wonder if you come across it at all.
( I am doing a small business website for someone, and I hope that the work will pay for it).
Heh. I am doing some computer work for a friend, and instead of money, I get lamb and pork meat for my freezer which will feed me for months. No money coming in, no taxes. _________________ “The hardest thing to explain is the glaringly evident which everybody had decided not to see.” - Ayn Rand |

Yeah, I saw the price on those - I'll wait a little while, if I can get away with it.

I'm not familiar with that one in particular, but I'm sure you'll get a lot of great use from it.
With this one, I've now got a pretty large range covered.
10-22mm
18-55mm
28-135mm
100-400mm
My next lens will no doubt be a dedicated macro lens, but I haven't decided which one I want to get yet. For now, I'll keep using the extension tubes to get by on that front. _________________ Yeah... I said that. |

That's a great range of glass you got there. I have Canon EOS Rebel XT. Lenses: 18-55mm; 75-300mm; 0.42x Macro/Wide Angle Lenses and several macro adaptors. And a Pentax K-1000. Lense: Prime 50mm, 33-80mm, 75-250. Um a Holga 120S. (Older version, no built-in flash.) Plus I have about 50 other vintage cameras, I don't shoot much on them as it costs lots to get 126, 127, 620 load film. _________________ See my photoblog. Feel free to comment.
