I just shook my head. I can only assume she was trying to refute evolution. So I told her that's not an organic object. it doesn't reproduce so it won't evolve. Instead, it will rust, and the molecules holding the car together will break apart and spread out and be returned to the environment.

These people are certainly interesting. I'd like to have some more stop by my house. Instead, we get recovering drug addicts trying to sell me new gutters or magical carpet cleaners

I work at a coffee shop and get Jehovah's witnesses.
They bring those stupid fuckin' pamphlets and hand them to me with their money. It takes every bit of self control to not jump on to them, screaming and cussing - bashing their heads into the floor!!! So I just politely say " No thank you, we don't accept solicitation." And they give me a "How dare you!" look. I'm going to make them an atheist pamphlet and hand it to them next time.

I got one on holiday, on freaking holiday. We were in Italy and some local jehovahs witnesses decided to come visit us...

man I was pissed.

When they finally got away I had a read of their newsletter for the lulz and it was about how they can pove that Noahs flood was real and whether it did cover the entire world (the evidence for both being that it was in the bible...) and something about whether they should respect everyone for their beliefs if theyre similar or radically different.

Turns out they shouldnt. Yeah. I thought they might have been going for the tolerance route for a heartbeat there.
