i'd rather not have a bunch of hookers walking around where i live, but maybe if there were some hooker rules, it would be different.

It really goes back to the old Abrahamic religious sexual hangup about men being unable to control their own sexual urges, and women being responsible for this. It's present in Christianity AND Islam.

It's a cop-out of personal responsibility of the worst kind.

look at Nevada... or Amsterdam. prostitution can work quite well. it can be safe, regulated and hell, if you're into such things, taxed.

Making prostitution illegal is legislated morality, nothing more.
