Stating that Obama would be president is too hasty. I just hope that he does not pick the Hillary, because they would loose big. There are many minority groups that are opposed to a black president. In short, he will not be elected. Hopefully, in the future we would see a black man who really descended from slaves and one who articulates the interests of Africans without apology. (A half-breed is acceptable because of the assumption that he won't be a threat to white dominance). _________________ If you wish, like us, that the entire liberty of the individual and, consequently, his life be respected, you are necessarily brought to repudiate the government of man by man, whatever shape it assumes; you are forced to accept the principles of Anarchy that you have spurned so long. You must then search with us the forms of society that can best realize that ideal and put an end to all the violence that rouses your indignation.

Yeah, it is hasty. There is the little matter of an election in November that comes first. It's likely he'll win ... except that all of Hillary's primary attack adds are going to be rerun by McCain.
But the choice is between a theocrat and a socialist ... vote third party. _________________ Nos laetus edo qui votum opprimo nobis.
An interesting, but somewhat old, WaPo piece about Obama's legislative efforts. His push for videotaping police interrogations may be of some interest to some libertarians on this board. _________________ The whores and politicians will shout 'save us'...
I've contacted to Paul campaign to see if any cute people have endorsed Paul, frugly dress or not. I am still awaiting a reply, but I presume the results are not going to be encouraging.
Until I hear a response, the choice is clear: Obama '08. Do it for Gwyneth. _________________ The whores and politicians will shout 'save us'...

It's not, given his socialist leanings. _________________ aa #51, DNRC o-, Member of the [H]orde

So what, no one's even mentioned this?
Game. Set. Match. On to the finals.

Although it should be pointed out that Clinton was supposed to drop out yesterday according to some reports. So we'll see. _________________ MY YouTube Videos
I find it interesting that even in countries that aren't native English speakers are excited about Obama. I feel like his speaking abilities make him popular here in the US but I guess it's something else in places like Japan and Germany. _________________ MY YouTube Videos

After the past 8 years, we could put a trained hamster in the White House and people would be excited. _________________ "The very existence of flame throwers proves that some time, somewhere, someone said to themselves, 'You know, I want to set those people over there on fire, but I'm just not close enough to get the job done.' - George Carlin

This is an edited down version of Obama's 2006 speech about the 'separation of church and state' and the value of reasonable argument in a pluralistic society. Not very likely you are going to be hearing this speech in this 2008 election. _________________ MY YouTube Videos
