Who says we can't do it anyway? First the native american, then the africans... then the martians! _________________ "What I'm saying is, if God wanted to send us a message, and ancient writings were the only way he could think of doing it, he could have done a better job." --Carl Sagan

I say we leave it as is and send the Muslims there with Allah. It would feel like home in the litter box, with no pesky non-believers.

I can think of a few other places in the solar system that would be a much more efficient place to put them without having to wait to terraform Mars. Just gotta make sure we blare that creepy, weird music.

In a twist of irony, they would accidentally uncover life on Mars while throwing rocks at each other. |

Heck Mars would be the perfect environment to dump the religious people of the world. omg if we sent all the religious to Mars to live. They'd be far away enough that they couldn't harm us anymore. Global Warming would end. Species would stop going extinct at an expanding rate.
*Day dreams*
secondly they could thrive on mars because despite popular beliefe, religious people don't breathe oxygen. They breath in their own ignorance. _________________

Chance is we'll find microbial live deep in the planet where it is warm enough to maintain life. Secondly, we'll probably find fossil evidence of Mars' former species before the tectonic plates stopped moving and the planet went dead.
We should terraform it right now. I have no clue why we aren't doing it. We need to pump CO2 and Oxygen into Mars immediately. Co2 to warm up the planet and oxgyen to allow us to breath :3 Isn't it odd how Global Warming is dangerous for life on Earth yet is perfect for Mars? I suppose cause Mars is fricken freezing. _________________

Well, for one, given that we've barely budgeted for a few exploration missions, we're a bit shy of budgeting for terraforming. Secondly, I suspect most scientists would say that we should first study it in depth as it is before going and mucking with it. Once we muck with it, there will be things that we will never be able to see in their natural state. _________________ Please visit my site at www.caseagainstfaith.com featuring critiques of Lee Strobel and other apologetics

even if we do terra form mars, which wont be in my life time, there is still one big problem, the gravity is different than on earth so that would have a health effect on whoever lives there for long periods of time
unless of course that they have artifical gravity in the future _________________

unless of course that they have artifical gravity in the future | The health changes wouldn't drastically affect anyone unless they went back to earth.
