Oil soars to new record over $135

The latest surge was driven by data showing that supplies of crude in the US had fallen by 5.4 million barrels.
US light, sweet crude for July delivery reached $135.09, taking its gain for the year so far above 40%. In May 2007 it was priced at about $65.
Higher oil prices push up the price of fuel at the garage forecourt, home energy bills, air travel and food.
The average price of a litre of unleaded petrol in the UK is now 114 pence, according to Experian Catalist, and diesel has risen to an average of 126.4 pence per litre.
And the motoring organisation, the AA, said that a $5 leap in the oil price could add another 2.5p to the price at the pump. |
The price will keep soaring until the infidel's economy is ruined.
There is no incentive to search for alternative energy sources.

not necessarily true, look at solar...they are working on many more incentive programs for solar as we speak
EDIT: whats the liter on your side of the woods (unleaded & diesel)?
here is .96 per liter  and diesel 1.10

Excuse me, but why do you need incentive programs if the prices of oil are going up?

HEHE, see you point, but there are "some" "true" "politicians" with NO personal gain in mind *cough*  that are working very hard to push solar incentives, and some on Bio diesel

Gas just went up 10 cents here in 4 days, and has been on that trend for the past three months.

No, I'm not questioning the politician's intent, I'm asking what's the point.
If the prices of oil go up so much that solar power and bio diesel will be cheaper we'll switch to them.
Creating any incentive programs before that happens only wastes our resources.

we could make new refineries and dig oil here, but the damn tree hugging snail darters would be offended and we can't have that.
apparently caribou are more important than gas and the economy. |

| well pr does have a point that the muslims pose an economic threat to us, at least the ones who hold the oil, but its our own fault for not getting our own oil and trying to develop alternative fuels sooner;. |
