If that's what you think happened then you have not read the account. You're probably not aware that God appeared continuously and spoke audibly to the entire nation of Israel 24/7 for a period of 40 years. Moses recorded this fact in writing which Joshua carried across the Jordon along with the Ark of the Covenant.

So who, in your mind, is this some person?

He's not in OUR minds.

Lots of people claim to talk to god or hear from god. In the end, with god all we have is the claims of people.

fact? sorry did you say fact?

eh uh. wrong answer, now GTFO.

Joshua...ah joshua. wha a book.

No one ever mentions Aaron, what did Aaron do to you missionary? poor soul Sad

And this backs up my idea, that when God speaks to one person it is known as insanity, a hundred or so and its a cult (usually devil worshippers or blasphemers of some kind) but if its the majority.
Then at last it's a religion.

woo for sheepherders taking LSD.

Somebody wrote all that stuff in a book. Just because somebody writes stuff in a book, doesn't make it true. Do you blindly believe any old thing you read in any book, or just that one particular book?

God is my favorite topic of discussion. Nothing strange about that. I don't care who hosts or gathers in a forum entitled "Religion General Discussion".

Why would I? Heck, we're talking about God and the bible. I'm in heaven here! haha

Yep. That's exactly what I did when I committed myself to the Lord.
