I don't know anything about goldfish. I know that sometimes it's not a good idea to feed them things like that because they can't properly digest the little bones. If you've done it without consequence I don't see the harm in it.

I have always hesitated to buy pinky mice as treats since he is smaller than usual due to poor care by his original owners (he had MBD and coccidia when I adopted him)

The same way people love and care for cats and dogs. I suspect most mammals would also kill and eat you if they could. Dogs can and have killed and eaten people, and I'm pretty sure every cat in history has plotted world domination.

This one was responsible for the mass murder of millions of jews.

Nice lizards, I was looking into getting some geckos maybe in the future. But for now, Chameleons are my bag baby..
