Wow.

All this time I thought you are a homeless bum, a drifter, a crack addict, and a whorechaser.

OK, it must have been someone else I was thinking of.

Mountain Dew and Cheetos? Excuse my ignorance but what are those? We don't get them in Londonistan.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gamer_culture

Mountain Dew is a sugary, fattening soft drink and Cheetos are a puffed corn snack that is covered in a distinct orange cheese powder (which stains fingers and the crumbs of which get caught in the neckbeard that covers my three chins). both are unhealthy with no nutritional value and are preferred by fat, ineffectual, virgin, loser game nerds such as myself. we all live of off those items

I make it with soy milk and veggie sausage, then I fry it in olive oil after it's simmered after boiling.

Nothing like grits. Different consistency and taste. Texture is different too.

I buy mine at an organic store because Publix doesn't sell it. The box I buy says "Organic Yellow Corn Grits," but it's used to make polenta. You could make it into grits too, but ick.

It's served with tomato sauce too, traditionally.

I used to cook polenta, and you can do similar things with semolina too.
Spread it on an oiled tray, 1.5 cm thick, cool it down and cut out triangles or round shapes, and pan fry them.

Yummy. Italian origin.
