It is easy to tell someone that a trivial fact they hold true is in deed false.
“Like a koala isn’t in the bear family, actually it’s a marsupial”

It is a lot harder to convince someone that the bases of their life is incorrect or even different. Just look at all the different sects.

Yet if you seek the Truth, you should question everything. Even what you hold as sacred.

I find it easier to seek the truth when you don't hold beliefs that are sacred or culturally bound. All of my probable truths are tentative and malleable.

I would want to know the truth but on the other hand I think ignorance would be better rather than knowing for certain that there was a malevolent all powerful being waiting to send my soul to hell.

Not only would I not worship it, but I'd do my damnedest to kill it!

Even if there was a God that was proven beyond debate (unlikely to happen), I would believe that it existed, but I certainly wouldn't 'love him'. That's what I don't understand about Christians, they are so intent on converting others to believe in God and Jesus they don't even realize that their 'lord and savior' is a serial killing, egotistical maniac.

First prove that the 20,000 documents that make up the new testament are false and then we talk Smile
