1. I am deceptively quick...like 'snatch the pebble' quick.
2. However, I am not fast.
3. I play bass guitar by ear...can't read a note.
4. I was nearly punched by Pete Townshend.
5. I can't slam dunk, but I can drain a 20 foot rainbow like nobody's business.
6. I love long distance driving. I despise local driving.
7. I have severe night-blindness (if the guy on the corner ever takes his fence down, I'll never get home again!!!)
8. I rarely watch television.
9. I walk 5 miles a day.
10. I have lost 90 pounds in the past 12 months!

Caleb? Are you a polygamist? Is your next son going to be named Ezekial or Noah? How about Moab? You're not Mormon so Moroni or Nephi is out of the question, right?

Hmmm cool thread. I have stuff in common with some of "you people".
1. I also have Raynaud's Syndrome--including breaking out in a rash sometimes with cold weather
2. I was captain of the cheerleading squad in high school (this one makes people laugh because I used to conform and shit)
3. I was also in the National Honor Society and had a free ride to college I never used. Idiot.
4. Never went to prom because I was dating a 25 year old and he didn't wanna go
5. I have a tattoo and an "extra" piercing
6. I have some interesting ancestors including a member of James Reese Europe's Clef Club Orchestra (GG Grampa--and he actually played piano and drums and guitar that historic night in Carnegie Hall) and Dr. Charles Alexander Eastman (GG Grampa)
7. Call me any name in the book except "woman", I don't like that
8. Almost died from high fever/infection twice, at age 2 and age 11
9. My nearest immediate family (not including my kids) lives 1800 miles away
10. Had surgery to repair my kidney at age 2 (see #8 ) and have the foot long scar on my left waist area that I don't remember not having, so not embarrassed by it at all even though everyone has to point it out _________________

1. I am an only child and grew up entertaining myself. I am fascinated with miniatures and love details. I build models and love to work with my hands. I am a LOTR fan and have every single action figure made.
2. I have been fascinated by weapons since I was a child and my house is an arsenal/museum.
3. I get along well with other species, and a select few of my own. I have toted around a parrot that is old enough to vote. He outlived all my dogs, cats, ferrets, turtles, and iguana (wifes).
4. I am a life long atheist and skeptic. I do not believe in the existence of anything there is no evidence for, and have little respect for those that do. I have a twisted sense of humor and make people laugh more than I bring people down…in person…
5. I have never been into team sports, any sports I have been into involve a weapon i.e. archery, fencing and sword play, black belt Tae Kwon Do, and I’m an expert marksman.
6. I joined the Marines at age 17, and aced boot camp with a three mile 17min. 30 second run, 38 pull ups and 80 sit ups in two minutes. I got the MOS of Military Intelligence which ended up being map folding and briefing pilots, buffing floors and sweeping dirt parking lots. I finished out my contract in line ordnance arming A-4M Skyhawks transitioning to AV8-B Night attack Harrier Jump jets. I have been to most of the US, Japan, Okinawa, Philippines, Korea, Germany, and Mexico. I can name damn near any military aircraft and have taken the stick on the Sentimantal Journey and flown on the 9-o-9 B-17G flying fortresses.
7. I love to camp and have a Tipi that I like to pitch in BFE and rough it to ground myself and remind myself of what is really important in life. I am an amateur archaeologist and am fascinated with anything old. I can flint knapp, brain tan my own buck skins, make sinew back wood and horn bows and arrows, Atlatls, pottery, you name it. I am more comfortable off the pavement. I despise big cities. My Sioux name is Hihan Wanagi. (Owl Spirit).
8. I love music and dabble on six string and bass though I am clueless. I can sing any song on the radio pre 90s when music took a serious dump.
9. I have never been drunk, have no tattoos (though I give henna tats to friends), never done drugs, never smoked, I swear like a sailor and my only vent is loud music and sex.
10. I married the love of my life.
I have to stop at ten. _________________ Join http://www.sefora.org/

5. Loooooooove a good european beer; stout (i.e. Guinness) being the exception.
6. I have a mild case of Raynauds
7. My last name (Rombouts) goes back to the middle-ages and there's even a Rombouts cathedral somewhere in Belgium.
8. I live a mere one minute walk removed from both my parents and my sister + brother in law.
9. When I encounter someone with a puppy on the street I just gotta, have to, MUST pet it. (but I'm still primarily a catperson)
10. Don't like the feeling of having either a moustage or a beard. |
