I have not posted on this thread for some time.
It looks like the novelty has worn off.
The two other main posters on this thread - Buckster and Bobspence1 are no longer interested it seems.
I am still trying to keep this thread going, see what happens.

Nice Photos Buckster. The last one is a winner.
I thought you have gone AVOL. Welcome back.
Here are a couple of pictures with the "Orton" treatment.

My on-line photo management got disrupted when the site was re-organised, and I was running out of space there anyway.
Its taken me a couple of weeks to organise an extra 80MB on my original ISP, due to a certain amount of incompetence (grrr...).
Now I'm ok for a while. Prospects of lots more space very soon.
So here's some recent local shots, all taken since Jan 4, all with my now-beloved Canon 400D, 17-85 IS lens, all imported as RAW into Adobe Lightroom B4, lightly tweaked and exported as 800 pixel wide JPG's at 60% quality (I could see little if any loss of quality at this size - conserving drive space and download time):
A track down to a local riverside park (ISO 400):
Closeup of some eucalypt flowers (ISO 400):
Around the base of another eucalypt - yes there is a wild bee's nest in there (ISO 1600):
Another scene in another park (ISO 1600):

Welcome back, Bobspence1. I was wondering what happened there?
Anyway, here are some "CS2 revamped" shots:

Those are very lovely. They must not be Islamic flowers. Actaully, Bob Spence has some nice photos as well.. _________________ “I think it’s also important for the President to lay out a timetable as to how long they will be involved and when they will be withdrawn.”
