We have all heard of the case of a 15-month-old Oregon City girl who died of lack of basic medical treatment. What you might not know is that the law that the law that makes this faith based murder illegal was only passed in 1999. The group "Followers of Christ" in Oregon have been responsible for the deaths of over 55 kids due to medical neglect on very simple treatable illnesses. Before the 1999 law change the law said that the parents are not responsible for medical neglect when they provide medical treatment through prayer alone. None of these parents faced prosecution by the Oregon DA.

Today, there are still over 30 states with laws that say prayer = medical treatment. So, all you have to do is feed your child some poison from under your sink. At this point very basic and simple medical treatments could save your kid. But according to over 30 states that medical treatment is equal to dropping down on your knees and praying to god.

Perhaps some one needs to send in the results of the expirements done (by a Christian organization, no less!) mentioned in the God Dellusion, that showed that if anything, prayer leads to people getting worse, not better.

However, with Christian logic, they will just say, "Oh, well, you cant like...test him, you know? Its just something you like...do...", and all that bull.
