So the christians claim God created the universe. But considering the only thing in the void of absolute nothingness at the time would be God himself, that means that he had nothing with which to create and thusly "willed" everything into existence. From that we could say that God's power and all-mightyness comes exclusively from will-power. So if you confronted God, would it be possible to destroy him with will power, assuming you have a stronger will than God?

I think you're accepting too much of their bullshit as plausible. If god existed in the void of absolute nothingness, it wasn't a void of absolute nothingness.
And how did god "will" anything into existence anyway? And confronting God is any way is about as rational as confronting the tooth fairy

Well yeah, I'm just making a what if scenario. Hell if God exists, then I'm Bill O'fuckingReilly. _________________ Pressure: It can turn a lump of coal into a flawless diamond, or a normal person into a total basketcase.

Ho-hum... even if gods did exist, and you could destroy them, there would be those who would still believe. So in reality, or rather make-believe, god will exist until humans no longer need the jock strap for support. _________________ Its not that I question so much whether a god created man, but that he would admit it.- Thomas Brumfield

The power of God ceased when I stopped believing in him. I think that is why fundies continue to believe in God. Because they know deep down underneath their profession of faith, once they stop believing in God, he'll just vanish in thin air never to return again. Unless they fearfully start believing again out of their own ignorance.

Indeed, many gods, whole pantheons of gods are dead already, as people stopped believing in them.
They have been just as potent, just as powerful to the believers then, as the still existing gods are today.
Who is to say, which gods if any, will be still around in a thousand years from now? _________________ “The hardest thing to explain is the glaringly evident which everybody had decided not to see.” - Ayn Rand

There was (within the Christian and other traditions) an Angel that asked this same question. We call him Lucifer. _________________ Divinus Mentis Monsters in the Bible?
