I think it was Jon Saffron who went to Mor[m]on country and went door to door asking people if they wanted to learn about atheism. I though one old man was going to beat him to death with a broom!

There are a couple Mormons that live in the same complex as one of my brothers and they're always riding around on their bikes and they have a bunch of Jesus stickers in their windows. Once they actually managed to corner me on their bikes on my way up to my brother's apartment, right after I'd just smoked a bowl in the car. I knew what was coming as they approached, but before one of them could open his mouth to give me the usual spiel, I cut him off and said "Look, I'm high as hell right now and I'm an atheist". They were really nice in that brainwashed sort of way. Lights on, but nobody home...nothing but neatly fixed ties and heavy eye contact. I was so high that I was actually in the mood to be civil and didn't have the heart to tell them that there is no god, it's all in your head and you're living a pointless existence. We were all laughing pretty hard afterwards, because I mean out of all religions....Joseph Smith? I think he found more than magical gold plates on his journey that mystical day...

God in it's purest form.

Did you hear about Australian filmmaker John Safran getting even with mormons? He had a weird sleep schedule and kept getting woken up by Mormons, so he went to Salt Lake to knock on the door for atheism.
